I’m so humbled/excited/amazed/bewildered/more adjectives I can’t even think of right now.

First of all, I’m celebrating 1000 Facebook fans. It truly boggles my mind – the fact that so many of you have gotten a kick out of my fun, weird, unconventional treats.

Many of you wouldn’t have found out about me if it wasn’t for the cookie/baking community itself, an incredibly kind and supportive group of people who have shared my treats on Facebook and beyond. I’m so grateful to them for that. They inspire me every day.

Second of all, this little blog ‘o mine has grown in a way I never would have imagined. What started as a creative outlet has blossomed into new paths, new opportunities.

Most of all, I’m excited to celebrate you. Yes, you! If it wasn’t for each and every one of my readers – well, none of this would be possible. I adore each and every one of your comments and emails. I love to hear about your baking successes – and your baking mishaps! Many of you have sent me pictures of my creations that you have made – I believe I love those most of all. To see a cookie in action, making someone smile from who knows where, is a thing of beauty.

I believe this is all getting a little sappy. Moving on…

When I first saw this necklace from IrinSkye, I squealed. Like a little girl. And, like a girl, I love tiny things. So, combining a tiny little muffin pan with a tiny set of measuring spoons complete with tiny written measurements? It about did me in. I ordered one for myself right away and then thought, “I’d love to give one of these away to a reader!” Brandy, the creative force behind IrinSkye, was happy to donate one – and I’m so grateful to her for that! Plastics in Print has been making some serious waves in the cookie decorating world. Their ultra-creative cookie cutters and presses, at super reasonable prices, have created quite a buzz – and they do custom work! I’m partial to the super cute fox press, the little bee press, and the ever popular fancy rectangle cutter myself. I’m not gonna lie – I’m going to be a teensy bit jealous of the winner.
