About this time every year, my husband and I begin our annual battle of wills regarding the Christmas decorations. He is adamantly anti-Christmas tree before Thanksgiving, while I am firmly in the Christmas tree up ON Thanksgiving camp. This year, I win by default, since he is working 12 hour days and has to put it up on Thanksgiving if we want it up by December! One of my favorite traditions that we started a couple years ago is to exchange ornaments when we put up the tree. We used to always exchange ornaments on Christmas, but you don’t get any time to enjoy them until the next year, so this way we get to put them on the tree immediately and enjoy them all month!

i LOVE hallmark ornaments. i get my husband an ornament every year as well, and i make him get me one. his family never did that sort of thing so it’s taken him a while to get on board.
i love the idea of exchanging them when you put up your tree. if i was more in gear with my shopping this year i would totally do that!
I love them too! My husband likes the ornament exchange but he has told me that my ornament is NOT Hallmark this year (gasp!). I’m sure it will still be awesome

Awesome ornaments! Love what you picked to give away. I’m a sucker for the Peanuts Hallmark ornaments, the ones labeled with “magic” (meaning they move either by battery power or wind-up).
