Oh, Walter, how you have changed…

walter white

Once a sympathetic, likable guy just trying to do right by his family…

walter heisenberg

You are now a ruthless, drug tycoon who values his empire above all else.

No matter your opinion of Walter White/Heisenberg, if you’re a Breaking Bad fan, I bet you can’t wait to see how it all ends. Will Walt’s cancer take him out after all? Will there be a deadly confrontation between him and Jesse? Or perhaps one of his many drug rivals? I don’t think there is a more riveting show on television right now!

These cupcakes represent Walter White to a “T.”

On the outside, they look like plain, ‘ol cupcakes. So…vanilla.

Breaking Bad Cupcakes by notyourmommascookie.com

But, on the inside is Walt’s deadly secret – his famous blue meth (played here by crushed Jolly Rancher candies!).

These beauties are perfect for a Breaking Bad marathon viewing, or even a series finale party!

I love your Walter White/cupcake analogy! Haha. And it was genius to use Jolly Ranchers! The candy is the perfect shade of blue for Walt’s meth. Thank you, thank you for linking to my BB treats!

Thank you, Mike! I love how we came to the same treat from two different perspectives – you from the perspective of the hidden meth (GENIUS – seriously!) and me from a Walter’s secret :) I would have totally used the beautiful crystal sprinkles if I had seen them! :)

Best cupcakes EVER! I am a HUGE Breaking Bad fan! Jason and I predict that Walter White is going to die at the end. Any predictions?

These are fantastic. There just seems like so much to tie up in 7 more episodes, I am all in! But I watch because I love Jessie!

Reply

32 Jennifer August 13, 2013 at 3:56 pm

I love Jesse too! I feel for him so much; he never really wants to do bad things, but always ends up being a part of terrible situations!

I have now seen 4 of your cupcakes and LOVE you & this fab Blog! I love the care given, and the bit of irreverence. (The pix of Babs on the Book of Mormon entry? GENIUS!!) :) I couldn’t stomach this show but it is the fave of a fellow i haven’t seen in a while. He thinks everyone is on Meth now, so this will scare him & hopefully crack him up at the same time ;0) Pinning!

Thank you so much for sharing your recipes, yay!!

We have the coolest little cupcake shop here in OKC called Pinkitzel, they sell the rock candy I had not seen since i was a kid. It looks just like your blue.. um… faux meth. It would be fun to use the rock candy in the middle too – i can’t imagine how you got Jolly Ranchers to look so perfect! But i am determined to try. OK, 2 posts is 1 more than enough, so i’m outta here :) :)
