Easter is totally upstaging my birthday this year.
With Easter on March 31st and my 30th birthday on April 2nd, it has been difficult to plan something around everyone’s going-home-to-see-family/stuffing-their-faces-with-chocolate-bunnies schedule.
But, I forgive Easter. Because of Cadbury eggs (both creme filled and mini), PEEPS, most of all, Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, the best tasting shape of all of the holiday shapes. Don’t ask me why. It just is. [Keep reading…]
I think “magic” is awesome. Mainly because I lack the common sense to understand how magic tricks are preformed.
You know those “behind the magic” shows where they show you the mechanics behind magic tricks? They show you magic trick and, deep down, I always think “There is no way they could do that. It must be magic! It must be! They are totally going to say, “Just kidding! It was magic all along.”

I’ll be making a couple treats for St. Patrick’s Day and sharing some pictures and maybe even a couple funny videos of our Irish adventure. [Keep reading…]

That I just imagined myself in a frilly dress, hunting around the yard for brightly colored eggs and now, as an adult, I believe it to be true.
In honor of my questionable childhood memories, I hid an Easter egg for you…inside of a pound cake! [Keep reading…]
I had never heard of a Fluffernutter until I met my husband.
As a Southern girl, I was perfectly content with a regular, ‘ol PB&J sandwich. But, my New England husband insisted on keeping marshmallow fluff in the house for Fluffernutter sandwiches.
At first, I wasn’t convinced. I mean, a marshmallow and peanut butter sandwich? Gross. [Keep reading…]
