The only way that caroling gremlins would be better is if they were edible.
So, I made them edible.
Well, I guess they were edible before, but who wants to eat a gremlin? Gross.
Caroling gremlin cookies? Not gross. Funny, kind of weird, and absolutely delicious.

The holiday season means a lot of things to me. Like, sweater weather. Twinkling lights. Hearing Christmas music in every store. Finding the perfect gift. It also means holiday TV specials!
Every year, I make a list of all of the holiday TV specials that I MUST WATCH. Why the same list isn’t kept every year…I don’t know. I always seem to make a new one. It includes obscure ones that I have on DVD (like my two favorites: Garfield Christmas Special and Claymation Christmas – who doesn’t love the California Raisins? Am I right?…) The list also includes the evergreen favorites that are still on TV today, like Rudolph and Frosty.
And, of course, Charlie Brown!!
I had this elaborate plan to photoshop the auditorium background into this picture…before I remembered that I have no idea how to do it. I really tried, you guys, I swear. For like a whole hour. Then I decided my time would be better served making cookies. Story of my life. [Keep reading…]

- Her treats are incredibly creative, yet anyone can make them!
- She loves to draw on marshmallows (with food color, of course!)
- And…she is one of the sweetest girls around.

These cookies are like a sweet, nerdy guy in a bar.
Unassuming, not very glamerous or flashy. Doesn’t get a lot of attention from the ladies.
But, for the one who is willing to give him a closer look, he is pretty handsome.
And, if she gives him a try, she’ll realize that he is the best one there!
These puppies don’t look like much, but once you try one, you’ll be shoveling them into your mouth like the world really is going to end on December 21st! I make these cookies every year for the holidays and they are the one cookie that everyone begs asks for!
The spices are the star of this recipe, so I always replace my spices annually for these cookies! Totally worth it.
