Baby NoYoMoCo

Baby NoYoMoCo at 34 weeks – looking grumpy already!

First of all, happy Halloween! :)

This will probably be my last pregnancy update. I KNOW. It has gone by so slow and so fast at the same time. I’m ready for our “not-so-little” lady to be here! She’s doing awesome, passing all of her frequent weekly tests, and is no longer breech! I’m progressing oh so slowly, but at least my body is doing something to prepare for her impending arrival.

Progress: 37 weeks pregnant, 8 months, 3rd trimester

Weird Baby Fact: At 37 weeks, babies are typically practicing breathing, sucking their thumbs, and blinking in the womb.

Size: At my 36 week scan, she was 7 lbs, 4 ounces! WHOA. And, her legs are in the 97th percentile, which she certainly didn’t get from my husband or I.

Baby Movement: Between her freaky long legs and my super short torso, she is running out of room for sure! She is quite pushy – very few hard kicks anymore.

Cravings: With the gestational diabetes – don’t get me started. There will be lots of yummy things to eat once she has been evicted!

Estimated number of injections left: BAH. I don’t even know anymore ;) I switched to another blood thinner at 36 weeks, so I now do 3 shots a day, plus 5 finger pricks. TOO many!

Sleep: What’s that? I try to make up for the lack of sleep with napping when I can.

Aches/Pains/Annoyances: I’m officially in the uncomfortable stage of pregnancy, which has me waddling around like an old lady! Standing up after lying down is probably the hardest thing I have to do all day. Something falls on the floor? Fuhgeddaboudit. It’s staying there.

Wow…that is an amazing photo! I love that, evicted! This is the final stretch, and it does creep very slowly. Thinking of you….have fun with all those little monsters tonight!

Hahaha… I was working (in the office) through week 38. I’d drop something on the floor and just look at my coworkers and say “I’m not getting that” and walk away. :)

Can’t WAIT to “meet” your little lady! Hopefully she comes soon and your body and start to heal from all the craziness you’ve had to deal with.

Haha! Nope – unless it will stain or get ruined, it’s staying on the floor and hubby can get it for me ;)

I can’t wait to meet her either! She seems pretty cozy at the moment though :)

I hope you have a really sweet baby to make up for all you’re going through!

My youngest son was born 4 weeks early. Happily, he was just fine!

That would be nice – one can hope that she will be an easy baby with such a complicated pregnancy! :)

Adorable and congrats. Be careful with the sweets after she is born. My sister in law went nuts on cookies and got very sick. Good luck in the coming weeks!

Haha, no cookie binging, promise! :) I’ll be happy just to have some bread and cereal, more than anything!

Hang in there, girl! The end can be so tough and you’ve got way more to manage than I did with either pregnancy. Soon enough, your little chicky will be here!!

You are precious! I can imagine you waddling around all cute and pregnant. I know you will glad when this misery is over and your baby girl is in your arms.

I am so sorry you have to get so many shots. I don’t know how you do it but, your reward will be better than anything you could possibly imagine!

Love ya girl and hand in there!!

Yes, I’m definitely waddling at this point :) The shots are no fun, but I know it is only temporary, and it’s all about keeping that sweet girl safe and sound!

Thanks so much, Monet! As I get closer, my anxiety gets higher, but I’m working to get that in check :) Just trying to treasure those moments of her rolling around in my stomach before she arrives!

Man! It seems like just yesterday that you announced you were pregnant. I love all the stats. My son had a crazy long torso but no legs. It was hilarious. Wishing you all the best as the time gets closer! You are on the countdown..

Haha! I don’t know where this one got long legs from…not me! :) My mom is tall (5’11″), so I’m kinda of hoping she got her tall genes!

I think she still kind of looks like a creepy, ghost baby, but it is amazing to actually see some of her features :) I just want to know if she has hair! I had lots at birth, but for some reason, I think she is going to be a bald baby…just a feeling :)
