To keep you guys updated on my pregnancy, I’m writing monthly posts with pregnancy goodies. Feel free to skip if you have no interest in my gestational activities.
My view looking down these days. See ya later, feet!
Progress: 28 weeks pregnant, 6 months, 3rd (!!!) trimester
Funny Story: At my last two ultrasounds, our little lady has been caught with her legs stretched out in front of her body, with her feet above her head. Apparently, she’s just comfortable that way, even though it doesn’t look comfortable to me. She has also played with her feet, yawned, and hiccuped.
Weird Baby Fact: She can blink her eyes in the womb now!
Size: As of yesterday, she is 2 lbs, 15 ounces (66th percentile). That is about the weight of the average human brain! Weird.
Baby Movement: LOTS of movement now. She likes to wake me up at 3am with her raging dance parties and then is dead quiet in the morning. She’s like a teenager already!
Cravings: Nothing really. Thousand Island dressing, maybe?
Estimated Number of Lovenox Injections Left: 123
Sleep: Not good, but not terrible.
Aches/Pains/Annoyances: My indigestion is starting to get worse, but whatevs. Hopefully it means she will have tons of hair!

Yay! I love your pregnancy posts! Glad things seem to be rolling along well!
Thanks, Michelle! Before every ultrasound, I get super nervous that, all of a sudden, there will be a problem, but every ultrasound has been perfect
She’s growing great, fluid levels are good – I couldn’t ask for better!
I always thought the moving was so amazing. I would just sit on the couch, rubbing my belly.
It is really cool
love it! i can’t believe you’re 28 weeks already. when is the due date again?
(and i love that shirt/dress in your pic!)
Thanks, Carrie!
I’m due on November 17th! How have you been feeling lately? You’re SO close to the end!
I love that dress – I got it here: http://www.simplybe.com/maternity/maternity-heart-dress/invt/rf181gw/
oh man I was doing perfectly fine until I hit 34 weeks. It’s been getting harder and harder everyday. I’m 35 weeks now, only about 5 more to go!
I’ve been feeling pretty good so far too, but I know that will probably end soon! I can’t wait to find out what you’re having and see that sweet little face!
Hello Jennifer!
What a sweet little update. She sounds like a perfect little princess already. I love your outfit with hearts.
whoops. I mean Hani not Hai..but that will do. Have a fantastic rest of the week and the baby, too.
Aww, thank you, Hani!
Awww I love your dress (or shirt?) and this update! I have a serious case of living vicariously through other peoples’ pregnancies and motherhoods….#sorryimnotsorry
Thanks, Kayle! I love that dress
Great update and glad that everything is doing well! I’ve been craving Thousand Island dressing too, hopefully that’s just a random coincidence.
Maybe you should take a test, just in case…
Yay!! So glad you are both doing well
Thanks, Zainab!
The whole thing is amazing. A human being wiggling and dancing inside you on her very own schedule, whenever she feels like dancing! Amazing. Being able to actually see her through ultrasound, as she changes and develops, while she is still inside you! Amazing. Loving her (even now) with an intensity you hadn’t previously thought possible. Amazing. Thank you for sharing your journey, Jennifer. You are amazing!
Oh Wendy – thanks so much for the sweet message! It is totally amazing
I love all the updates and it looks like everything is “moving” right along! Having all these things documented is wonderful, because someday you’ll be reading it to your sweet little girl!
Thanks, Kim! One of the sweetest gifts we got from our shower was a baby book, so I can start documenting things to tell her, but the blog is kind of like that too, isn’t it? I never thought of it that way!
Another happy and healthy update! So glad to hear. It’s funny, here I am thinking back to my own pregnancies (many, many, many years ago!) and I remember after my babies were born how surprised I was that even though I could finally see and hold them, that I missed carrying them inside of me.
Continued best wishes for a wonderful pregnancy.
Since I’m having a high risk pregnancy, I sometimes catch myself wishing it away – wanting her to be here, safe and healthy. But, I do think that once it’s all over, I’ll miss it!
I’m glad everything is going good! So cute how you catch her at play! And upside down? That is so funny! I wonder if it feels like swimming haha.
Thank you, Reeni!
Welcome to the third trimester, mama! Almost there!
Thanks, Kelly!
The end seems so close, and yet so far away!
I love your updates! Ultrasounds have came so far since I had my kids. I can’t believe you can see her yawn!!
I am so glad everything is going good! Can’t wait to hear more:)
I know, Lisa! It was really cool
They even gave us a 3D picture last time, since she was totally asleep. I can kinda make out a face, but the technology isn’t perfect and she’s still little
