6 years ago. It never felt farther away than right now. Because once this one joined the clan:
It felt like it had always been like this. That we were always together.
We won’t do anything special today – our to-do list consists of researching and purchasing a video monitor (the checking on her obsessively is getting old!), greasing the nursery door, and completing the bare minimum of cleaning. But, even if we’re not celebrating, I’m feeling extra grateful today. For wonderful husband who also turned out to be a kickass father and for a difficult pregnancy that resulted in the best thing ever – a spirited little girl who still loves to kick her feet like crazy, just like she did inside my belly.
